Advent and Christmas at Ravensworth

Advent and Christmas at Ravensworth 2019

The World is About to Turn

Advent is all about waiting and hoping for Jesus to burst on the scene. But what if the risen Christ is always bursting on the scene with the possibility of bringing about little revealings everywhere? During the seasons of Advent and Christmas, we’ll look at the gospel lectionary texts to draw a little closer to what a world turning toward the promise of peace, hope, joy, and love might look like. Inspiration for this year’s Advent theme comes from the song Canticle of the Turning (click here to listen)
