The Violence of Advent

A worthy tradition for the real Advent, not just the “good parts version” we seem to celebrate today:

“For our Savior was once a refugee in Egypt, and his family needed the expensive gifts of the Magi to survive,” Reeves said. “God loves to show up in the darkest of days in the most peculiar ways. So, let us keep our eyes open for the work of God. For Jesus said, when we take care of the ‘least of these,’ we take care of him.”
